My print of this Manor Class loco represents an example of the type travelling through Wilmcote station near Stratford -on- Avon. The type was specifically designed as a light weight loco to travel where heavier types couldn't. The Great Weston Railways logo can still be seen on the tender. This was a peculiarity of this particular one as 7816 above and below didn't show this design.
Wilmcote stn. was well known as being one of the best kept and colourful stations in the country as I hope I have managed to convey in the painting. The man with the small girl in the image is in fact me with my daughter on my sholders. The lady on the right is my mother.
